تذكر محرك البحث العالمي الشهير جوجل اليوم أنطوان دو سانت-إيكسوبيري الروائي الفرنسي الشهير في ذكرى ميلاده الـ 110 والذي كان بالإضافة إلى ميوله الأدبية التي أنتجت أحد أشهر أدبيات الأطفال في العالم وهي رواية"الأمير الصغير" طيارا تجاريا ثم حربيا قضى حتفه في مهمة الدفاع عن التراب الفرنسي.
دو سانت الذي حاول من خلال رواياته أن يعثر على معاني االسلوكيات ويحلل القيم الأخلاقية في أوساط المجتمع المتحول بسبب التقنية الحديثة. دافع عن قيمه وكان متذمرا من اللاخلاقيات وحاول دوما ايجاد التفسير المناسب لكل سلوكيات المجتمع العصري. وبالإضافة للأمير الصغير فمن أعماله الروائية الأخرى: أرض الرجال (1939م)؛ طيّار الحرب (1941 م).
وفيما غابت جثة دو سانت 44 عاما قبل أن يجدها باحثون فرنسيون في عام 1988 على الساحل الفرنسي قبالة مارسيليا وهو الذي كان توفي مع نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية أبى محرك البحث جوجل إلا أن يخلد ذكرى ميلاده الـ 110 في لفتة لم تعد غريبة على أشهر موقع إلكتروني على الإطلاق في سبيل تذكير الناس ببعض من تركوا بصمتهم على المعمورة قبل أن يغادروها بصمت ويطويهم النسيان.
