| الدليل السياحي لمحافظة حجة Tourist Guide to the province of argument
محافظة حجة
الموقع : تقع شمال غرب العاصمة صنعاء على بعد حوالي ( 127 كم ) .
السكان : يبلغ عدد سكان محافظة حجة حسب نتائج التعداد السكاني لـعام 1994م (1.222.662 ) نسمة .
لمناخ : يسود المناطق الجبلية في محافظة حجة المناخ المعتدل صيفاً والبارد شتاءاً ، أمَّا مناطق السهول الساحلية يسودها المناخ المداري الحار والرطب صيفاً والمعتدل شتاءاً .
التضاريس : تتوزع تضاريس محافظة حجة بين سلاسل المرتفعات الجبلية مثل سلسلة جبال الشرفين وحجور وسلسلة جبال كحلان وسلسلة جبال وشحة وكشر وغيرها ، وبين سهول ساحلية واسعة في بني قيس المطلة على الطور حيث مسيل وادي لاعة ومنطقة عبس السهلية التي تمتد إلى البحر بمسافة (50 كم ) وإلى الشرق منها توجد سلسلة من الهضاب تتصل بهضاب حجور ، بالإضافة إلى المناطق السهلية في ميدي وحرض وعبس .
الصناعات الحرفية : تشتهر محافظة حجة بالعديد من الصناعات الحرفية واليدوية ، ومن أهم تلك الصناعات، الكوافي الخيزران ، الأواني الحجرية ، الأواني الفخارية والصناعات الخزفية والحياكة ، ويعمل في الصناعات الحرفية والمشغولات اليدوية العديد من سكان المحافظة ، وتختلف منتجات الصناعة الحرفية بأختلاف المنطقة سوءاً كانت جبلية أو سهلية ، كما تتميز كل منطقة عن غيرها بصناعة حرفية معينة مثل :
- منطقة وشحة تنفرد بصناعة الأواني الحجرية بأنواعها المختلفة .
- منطقة أسلم تنفرد بصناعة الكوافي الخيزران ، وهي صناعة دقيقة بحاجة إلى عناية فائقة وتستمر صناعة الكوفية الواحدة حوالي شهراً كاملاً
- منطقة مستباء تنفرد بصناعة الأواني الفخارية .
وهكذا كل منطقة تتميز بحرفة معينة ، وتتوارث فيها صناعة الحرفة أسر محددة جيلاً بعد جيل.
الأسواق الشعبية : توجد العديد من الأسواق الشعبية في محافظة حجة موزعة بين مناطق المرتفعات الجبلية ومناطق السهل الساحلي تعرض فيها منتجات الصناعة الوطنية والأجنبية والمنتجات الزراعية والمصنوعات الحرفية والمشغولات اليدوية وأهم الأسواق في المحافظة هي :
1- سوق وادي شرس يقام يوم الأحد من كل أسبوع .
2- سوق مديرية مبين يقام يوم الأربعاء من كل أسبوع .
3- سوق مديرية حرض يقام يوم الثلاثاء من كل أسبوع .
4- سوق مديرية الطور يقام يوم الجمعة من كل أسبوع .
5- سوق شرفة في مديرية كعيدنة يقام يوم السبت من كل أسبوع .
6- وفي مديرية عبس يوجد سوقين أسبوعيين هما :
سوق الأربعاء يقام يوم الأربعاء من أسبوع .
سوق الخميس يقام يوم الخميس من كل أسبوع .
7- وفي مديرية بكيل المير يوجد سوق شعبي أسبوعي يقام يوم الأحد من كل أسبوع .
التقسيم الإداري : تتكون محافظة حجة من إثنين وثلاثين مديرية منها مدينة حجة ـ المركز الإدارية للمحافظة ـ وتتبعها المديريات التالية:-

التسمية : يعود تسميتها إلى " حجة بن أسلم بن علي بن زيد بن جشم بن حاشد " ، وقول أخر بأنها بطن من بطون " حجور بن أسلم وكل بلاد حجة من حجور " ، وتقع شمال سلسلة جبل مسور والشراقي على ارتفاع ( 1800 متر ) عن مستوى سطح البحر يطل عليها من الجنوب الشراقي ومسور وبيت عذاقة التابعة لمحافظة عمران ، ومن الشرق جبل كحلان ، وهي مدينة جميلة وعامرة في قمة جبل حجة يغطيها الضباب الكثيف معظم الأوقات خلال موسم الأمطار ، ويوجد بها خدمات البنية الأساسية وخدمة فندقية جيدة ، كما توجد في المدينة أسواق عامة وتطل عليها قلعة القاهرة وحصن نعمان الواقع على ربوة جنوب حجة ، وتطل غرباً على مناطق السهل الساحلي في بني قيس ووادي مور وتهامة ، أمَّا أهم الأودية في جبل حجة :- وادي عين علي وتجتمع إليه مصبات شمال حجة وشرق الجاهلي وجنوب الجبر والظفير وتنضم إلى وادي شرس .
وتضم مدينة حجة العديد من المواقع السياحية والتاريخية الجديرة بالزيارة أهمها قلعة القاهرة التاريخية ، وطريق الشراقي عبارة عن سلسلة جبلية متواصلة مثيرة للدهشة لما تحويه من مناظر طبيعية خلابة مطلة على أودية كثيفة بالمحاصيل الزراعية وأشجار البن بالإضافة إلى القرى الجبلية المتناثرة في قمم الجبال وعلى الهضاب القريبة مـن الأودية التي تعلوها المدرجات الزراعية الجميلة التي تعكس إرادة وتصميم الإنسان اليمني منذ القدم على تكييف معطيات الطبيعة لتلبية حاجاته الاقتصادية حفاظاً على جوهر استمرارية الحياة البشرية جيلاً بعد جيل ، كما يلاحظ على جانبي طريق الشراقي المواقع الأثرية والتاريخية المتناثرة التي صارت مهدمة تماماً ولكنها توحي باستقرار الإنسان فيها منذ مراحل مبكرة في التاريخ اليمني القديم .
كما تضم حجة مناظر طبيعية في وادي شرس الجميلة وشلالات وادي " عين علي" القريبة من المدينة ، ويمكن إيجاز المقومات السياحية في منطقة المرتفعات الجبلية لمحافظة حجة بعدد من الحصون والقلاع التاريخية المطلة على مناظر طبيعية خلابة للمدرجات الزراعية والقرى الجميلة المتناثرة من حولها بالإضافة إلى الوديان الخضراء التي تتضمن مزروعاتها أشجار البن اليمني المشهور عالمياً ، كما يوجد فيها عدد من المساجد الأثرية المنتشرة في مديريات المحافظة والتي تمتاز بزخرفتها الفنية الرائعة ؛ فهي آية في الجمال والإبداع إلا أن عدم توفر الطرق شكل عائق أمام من يرغب في زيارة تلك المعالم الأثرية .
المياه الطبيعية الحارة والحمامات العلاجية :توجد بمحافظة حجة عدد من مواقع المياه الطبيعية الحارة ، يؤمها الناس للاستحمام بمياهها التي تحتوي على عناصر معدنية وكبريتية للاستشفاء من الأمراض الجلدية والروماتيزم وغيرها .
