نشرت “سيسكو” الشركة الأمريكية المتخصصة في مجال المعدات الشبكية
تقريرًا توقعت فيها أن تشهد حركة البيانات العالمية عبر مراكز البيانات
نموًا بأربعة أضعاف لتصل إلى مايبلغ 6.6 زيتابايت سنويًا بحلول عام 2016
(وتعادل وحدة زيتابايت رقم 1 وعلى يمينه 21 صفرًا بايت)، وفقًا لمؤشر سيسكو
العالمي السنوي للحوسبة السحابية للفترة مابين 2011 و 2016.
كما تتوقع الشركة أن تشهد منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا أعلى معدلات
نمو حركة استخدام الحوسبة السحابية بمعدل نمو سنوي مركّب يبلغ 79%، تتبعها
أميركا اللاتينية بمعدل 66%، وأوروبا الوسطى والشرقية بنسبة 55%.
وتتوقع سيسكو أن حركة البيانات العالمية عبر الحوسبة السحابية (العنصر
الأسرع نموًا بين حركة استخدام مراكز البيانات) ستحقق نموًا بستة أضعاف عن
معدل حركة البيانات السنوي في 2011 لتصل إلى 4.3 زيتابايت بحلول 2016 – ما
يمثل معدل نمو سنوي مركب يبلغ 44%.
إن الغالبية العظمى من حركة استخدام مراكز البيانات ليست ناتجة عن
المستخدمين النهائيين وإنما عن مراكز البيانات وأحجام العمل الحاسوبية

وعلى الصعيد الإقليمي، يتوقع مؤشر سيسكو العالمي للحوسبة السحابية أنه
خلال الفترة الممتدة إلى 2016 ستشهد منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا أعلى
معدل نمو في حركة استخدام الحوسبة السحابية، فيما ستشهد منطقة آسيا والمحيط
الهادئ أكبر قدر من أحجام العمل عبر الحوسبة السحابية، تتبعها أميركا
الشمالية.
ومن أبرز نقاط الدراسة المتعلقة بسلطنة عمان، هو أن معدلات أداء
الحوسبة السحابية الإجمالي لشبكات الاتصالات الثابتة الموجهة للمتسهلكين
والأعمال التجارية في سلطنة عمان هي، سرعة التنزيل (2,674 كيلوبت
بالثانية)، وسرعة التحميل (626 كيلوبت بالثانية)، وسرعة الوصول (98 مللي
ثانية). أما معدلات أداء الحوسبة السحابية لشبكات الاتصالات الثابتة
الموجهة للمستهلكين في سلطنة عمان، فهي سرعة التنزيل (2,674 كيلوبت
بالثانية)، وسرعة التحميل (626 كيلوبت بالثانية)، وسرعة الوصول (98 مللي
ثانية). وعن معدلات أداء الحوسبة السحابية لشبكات الاتصالات الثابتة
الموجهة للأعمال في سلطنة عمان، فسرعة التنزيل (3,560 كيلوبت بالثانية)،
وسرعة التحميل (1,129 كيلوبت بالثانية)، وسرعة الوصول (116 مللي ثانية).
أما بالنسبة للمنطقة فإن أبرز نقاط ونتائج الدراسة المتعلقة بها، فعلى
الصعيد الإقليمي، يتوقع مؤشر سيسكو العالمي للحوسبة السحابية أنه خلال
الفترة الممتدة إلى 2016 ستشهد منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا أعلى معدلات
نمو استخدام الحوسبة السحابية، فيما ستشهد منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ أعلى
قدر من أحجام العمل عبر الحوسبة السحابية، تتبعها أميركا الشمالية.
وفيما يتعلق بتوقعات حركة الاستخدام العالمية لمراكز البيانات عبر
بروتوكول الإنترنت (IP) للشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا بما يغطي مراكز البيانات
الشبكية حول العالم والمُدارة من قبل المؤسسات ومزودي الخدمات، تتوقع سيسكو
أن تحقق حركة استخدام مراكز البيانات حول العالم نموًا بأحد عشر ضعفًا
تقريبًا بين عامي 2011 و2016 لتصل إلى 251 زيتابايت سنويًا بحلول 2016، ما
يمثل معدل نمو سنوي مركب يبلغ 60%.
ستشكل حركة استخدام الحوسبة السحابية حوالي ثلثي حركة استخدام مراكز

عمان: “فيما تستمر حركة استخدام الحوسبة السحابية بالتزايد في عالم جديد من
السحب الحاسوبية الكثيرة، يمثل مؤشر سيسكو العالمي للحوسبة السحابية أداة
قيمة لمراقبة وتوقع كافة الظروف المتعلقة بذلك ويقدمها لجميع الأطراف
المعنية بالحوسبة السحابية لتفيدهم في اتخاذ القرارات الاستراتيجية
والتخطيط على المدى الطويل. وتؤكد توقعات هذا العام على النمو الكبير في
استخدام الحوسبة السحابية ومراكز البيانات على مستوى العالم، مدفوعاً
برغبتنا المتزايدة في الوصول إلى المحتوى الإلكتروني الشخصي والعملي من أي
مكان وعبر أي جهاز. ومن الواضح أن الجيل التالي من الإنترنت سيكون بمثابة
